Tastes Like Siracusa

Siracusa was my first post as a missionary in Sicily. I arrived in April during a week of rainstorms and I stayed through the warm weather of May and June and on into the searing heat of July and August. The smell of charred, roasting red peppers (a very distinct odor) became a signature scentof our daily street treks.
This pasta, with roasted red peppers as the highlight, tastes just like Siracusa.

* This second photo (even more appetizing, I know) is directly from Pioneer Woman's recipe/post.

  1. Looks yummy - printed out the recipe for dinner next week - maybe Valentine's Day for my pasta loving husband!
