Base Camp: Cork

Cork, Ireland.

Copley House.

Record highs for July and August: 84 and 82 degrees F, respectively. Yes - I'm very much looking forward to the summer in Cork, thank you very much.

Also - we're a bit sad to not be able to order a home and away at the local pub. Apparently Cork fondly boasts two local brews - Murphy's and Beamish. When you order a home and away at any pub in Cork, you'll get a pint of the local (Murphy's) and a pint of the irish (Guiness, of course). Aye, well. We'll find enough to keep us busy, I suppose.
