15 Books in 15 Minutes

Fifteen (so limited!) books I've read that stick with me:

1. The Blue Castle - L.M. Montgomery
2. The Red Tent - Anita Diamant
3. The Giver - Lois Lowry
4. Peace Like A River - Lief Enger
5. Griffin & Sabine - Nick Bantok
6. The Goose Girl - Shannon Hale
7. Where The Red Fern Grows - Wilson Rawls
8. One of Ours - Willa Cather
9. Eat, Pray, Love - Elizabeth Gilbert
10. Wild Swans - Jung Chang
11. The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle - Avi
12. Outlander - Diana Gabaldon
13. The Clan of the Cave Bear - Jean Auel
14. The Chronicles of Narnia - C.S. Lewis
15. A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle

Not that they're all my all-time-favorites (though admittedly, most of them are), but they're definitely ones that I remember without too much effort and that I think of quite often - sometimes for the story, but mostly for who I was when I first read it and how it changed and literally shaped who I was, where I was headed, what was important to me, how I interacted with others and how I perceived the world.

And that, quite frankly, is saying somethin'.

  1. Don't you feel sorry for people that don't read?

  2. so Raelene, email me and tell me which one I should borrow from the library next time. I read Three when you reccomended it, so which is next, please? Seriously! :) jadell13 at hotmail dot com
